Overview:

KV Tech Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to oversee our team of carpenters and tradespeople. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of carpenters and tradespeople, assigning tasks and responsibilities according to project requirements.

2. Coordinate daily work activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and equipment allocation, to ensure efficient project execution.

3. Provide guidance and mentorship to crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

4. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate construction and installation of carpentry components.

5. Monitor work progress and quality to ensure compliance with project plans, building codes, and client specifications.

6. Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate work schedules and address any issues or concerns.

7. Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce adherence to safety regulations and procedures on-site.

8. Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage, and prepare reports as required.

9. Assist in the training and development of crew members, identifying opportunities for skill enhancement and career advancement.

10. Develop understanding of Build Book or equivalent project management software.

11. Understand of cell signal availability and plan ahead by downloading project information.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of leadership and supervisory experience.

2. Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools, with hands-on experience in carpentry and construction.

3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively delegate tasks, motivate team members, and resolve conflicts.

4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.

5. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

6. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to construction work, with a commitment to promoting a culture of safety on-site.

7. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification or formal training in construction management or a related field.

2. Experience working on commercial construction projects.

3. Proficiency in computer software applications for project management and scheduling.
